TEDDY BEAR JUMPER

It's true, it may still be a little warm for a big jumper, but I saw this beauty whilst out the other day and I just couldn't put it down. It is the softest jumper I have ever owned, and believe it or not it is from no other than F&F at Tesco. People I know always say they find little gems like this whilst doing their food shop and it actually happened for me this week! It cost a measly £16, however Tesco were also hosting a big 25% off clothing this weekend so it only cost me £12! I should point out however that this jumper is not intended to be baggy and that I have brought it in quite a few sizes up from my actual size to achieve this fit!

I paired it with my black leather studded shoes from River Island, I got them a while ago but I think they still do something similar in store. Added some simple black jeans and ready to go! Tomorrow is my first day back at university and to be honest I am excited to get back into it, hopefully I can keep up!

MAC Yash Lipstick

There's nothing better than a crisp new lipstick. Last night, Jack came home with this lipstick for me after he knew that I had been trying to get it for ages but it constantly being sold out, so naturally I needed to photograph it as soon as possible. I love MAC packaging, I could photograph it all day so excuse any excessive pictures. It is beautiful. It's a brown nude matte formula, very neutral, very wearable and makes me feel quite grown up! It's one of those 'your lips but better' lipsticks. Pretty much everyone knows how good MAC lipsticks are and this one is no exception, it glides on like a dream and feels very creamy although it still gives a good matte lip. Another MAC lipstick I know I wont be able to live without added to the list!

BASIC

Hey guys! Just a quick outfit of the day today! I recently got one of those 'selfie sticks' so I thought I would give it a whirl - it's actually quite fun to use! Quite hard to get the hang of though because I haven't got a remote to control my phone - so I have to set a timer from close and then move it in to position in all of about 3 seconds! I'm just in a really basic outfit today because I am mainly in the house sorting stuff out for Uni next week and also practising for my theory test which is coming up! So I'm wearing this grey baggy top from Topman - I found it in the sale for £2 and knew I would love it for days like these! And I also have on my black high waisted skinny jeans from New Look! Simple as you can get but I like it!

The Autumn Tag!

Hey guys! Today I thought I would do this years Autumn tag! I haven't done one before and thought it would be fun to do and join in! If you're reading this and want to do the tag yourself then I tag you!

1) Okay we’re talking coffee – what’s your favourite seasonal drink from Starbucks or another coffee shop?
Unfortunately I don't actually like tea or coffee oops! I do however have a favourite drink from Starbucks which is a chocolate cream frappicino. When it's cold though I wouldn't pass up a hot chocolate in one of their cute seasonal cups!
2) Accessories – what do you opt for, scarf, boots, gloves?
I've never really been one for gloves so for me it would be either boots or a nice chunky scarf! I think it depends what outfit I'm wearing. I have a tartan scarf from Urban outfitters which I absolutely adore, however I also have some black biker boots with a fur trim that I pretty much lived in last year!
3) Music – what’s your favourite music to listen to during Autumn?
My music taste doesn't really change dependant on the season other than when it gets to Christmas! My absolute favourite is the Michael Buble Christmas album, along with Frank Sinatra.
4) Perfume – what’s your favourite scent for this time of year?
Recently I've been loving Gina by Benefit. I'm not good at describing smells but it's really nice and girly, but at the same time it's a bit heavier than the fruity summer scents you get, so that works out nicely with Autumn.
5) Candles – what scents will you be burning this season?
I love spice based scented candles. 'Candy Corn' from Yankee Candle was my favourite last year and when it gets even colder I love cinnamon based scents and also the Christmas Cookie scent from Yankee!
6) What do you love most about Autumn?
I love that it starts getting a bit colder to be honest! I'm definitely one for the colder weather, as long as it isn't raining! I love that the nights draw in a bit quicker, you can layer clothes, and it's nice to stay in with lots of candles burning, movies, baking and hot chocolates! I also love going to places like Winchester and London with Jack around this time of year, the seasonal stuff in the shops are so cute and we love finding nice cafes too.
7) Favourite makeup look?
I like to wear a bit of a darker smoky eye when it gets into Autumn. It's too heavy to wear in Summertime but it's my favourite look as soon as Autumn comes around. Berry lips are also a fave!
8) What are you looking forward to most in Autumn?
I am actually looking forward to going back to uni, I start back next week. Also, having recently left my part time job, I am also looking forward to having a bit of time off to spend with my family! I have a lot of exciting times coming up including Bridesmaid dress shopping for my sister, Jacks 21st, and a friends wedding! Also as I said previously I love going present shopping in different places with Jack and baking lots of different things, also halloween! Halloween is on a Friday this year and I'm planning to have a big party! :)
Like I said if you're reading this and want to do it yourself, I tag you!

NOTD

Hey guys! Today I've been trying out a few different nail ideas I thought were a bit more 'autumnal' in a sense anyway!

Left to right -
17 Magnetized Nail Polish in Navy - I love the look of the magnetized nails. They may not be on trend any more but I think there is something about them that makes the look really unique! The dark navy is good for Autumn, plus how fun is it to use these polishes?!

BarryM in Wine With BarryM Gold Sparkle (Limited Edition) - This look could be argued more Wintery then Autumn, but I love it! I think it really pops and makes your nails stand out. The Wine red would look great on its' own, too.

BarryM in Navy - I loved this polish just on its' own really, I think it looks so classic and smart. However I have also tried changing it up a bit and on the second nail by adding a matte top coat. I think matte nails work best with dark polishes and you can pick them up for pretty cheap nowadays!

China Glaze Crackle Nail Polish - I thought I would just try this out on it's own to see if it would actually work, and surprise surprise it does! I thought the colour looked really nice on its' own so I didn't bother layering it. I thought the teal colour was a nice transitional shade, it has a bit of depth but still a subtle shimmer too!

So those are just a couple of nail ideas I thought I would try out! What colours have you been trying?

Autumn Makeup

Hey guys! Today as I feel the cold weather finally creeping in, I thought I would start putting on some more autumnal make up! I haven't gone too overboard, just a slight smoky eye and some darker lips, however I tried it out with and without the lip so it could work both ways!

Whilst wearing the darker lip I thought I would wear my hair up to make the look more smart. To do this look was really easy, I just done my normal foundation routine, put a light brown eye shadow on the centre of my eye and a darker brown in the outer corner and blended it out! Followed by my normal eye liner flick! I think it's a subtle change in to the autumn weather without going too dark! What do you think?

My Shoe Collection | Heels

Hey guys! For today's post I thought I would share my current heel collection! A couple of things you'll be able to tell from this post; 1) I like black shoes, and 2) I like wedges/chunky heels. So this is it!

I don't think I have a huge amount of heels, however the ones I have fit all kinds of occasions so it works for me! As I said I'm a huge fan of black, it obviously goes with everything so it's just easy really, plus it's my favourite colour! The one problem I do have with black however is how dirty they get, do you know how hard it is for a clutz to go without scuffing up these bad boys on a night out? Luckily I'm a huge fan of chunky shoes so I don't really have a problem with comfort either which is always a plus!

1) Carvela Kurt Geiger Wedges
Everyone needs a pair of plain black wedges in their wardrobe. I was in a shoe outlet in Portsmouth and saw the Kurt Geiger's for a mere £39 in my size, so they had to be mine! As you'd expect they are a great quality and just an amazing staple shoe. I love the small gold detail around the bottom, too. However they can be a nightmare to keep dust free because of the suede!

2) Miss Selfridge Chunky Heels
Another pair of heels I love are these from Miss Selfridge. I like the contrasting tones of the front which is a suede material, and the heel which is more of a leathery feel. They are super comfy and something I can actually wear out all night without a problem!

3) Bank Nude Wedges
These shoes are a personal favourite of mine. My only pair of heels which aren't black, I think they can look pretty girly and classy with the right outfit and again they are really comfy (seeing a theme here? I like comfort!) The peep toe is a nice addition and the specks of gold in the wedge really caught my eye!

4) New Look Chunky Slip ons
These are a pretty new addition to my shoe family, so I've only got to wear them once, however they're relatively comfortable due to the platform. They are chunky and some may even say ugly, however I think they're beautiful. As I've said I have a thing for chunky shoes so when I saw these in the sale they had to be mine!

5) Topshop Suede Chelsea Boots
These shoes are admittedly more casual than 'going out' shoes, however I also think they can be the perfect in between shoes for those times when you're going out for a meal and a few drinks but not properly out, if you know what I mean. I also wear these shoes quite a lot on the regular which is probably why they look a little worn. They are comfy and pretty and definitely one of my favourite pairs of shoes that I own!

So that's it! I should probably get some proper heels too soon but for the moment I just don't need them! How many pairs of heels do you own?

FUDGE URBAN Iced Raspberry & Vanilla Hairspray

Hey guys! So I tried out the Fudge Urban Hairspray recently. What drew me to it first off was the interesting packaging! It's so pretty and fancy, looks expensive (but it isn't!), it's like something you'd see in a salon. Next, I noticed what it actually was. Scented hairspray. I mean come on. That's amazing! I've been waiting for ages to find a product like this that exists! I've never heard of the brand before but they had quite a few of their products in Boots, however I thought I'd start off by just trying one.

I chose the Iced Raspberry and Vanilla scented hairspray. It predominantly smells of raspberry though and the Vanilla is just a nice undertone. As for the hairspray itself, it gives a nice, light, but lasting hold (it says it lasts 24 hours however I don't think any hairspray that makes this claim does) and it doesn't leave your hair feeling crispy which is super nice! I always worry with hairspray that it will make my hair look and feel crispy and horrible. It also says that you can reduce frizz in your hair by spraying some product on to the palm of your hand and and smoothing it over.

Overall it makes a nice change to the run of the mill hair sprays I normally always go for, and it isn't much more expensive either at £4.99 a bottle. And it's always nice to have raspberry scented hair, am I right?! If you see this around I'd definitely give it a go!

Bloggers Block and Autumn Outfits!

Hello everyone, so I think it's fair to say I've had a bit of time away from my blog, which was very unexpected for me. When I read about other bloggers going through the same, that they just don't know what to write about or they feel really un-passionate about what they're doing, I never thought I'd see myself in the same boat. I always used to think it was an excuse because they couldn't be bothered for a while, but then it happened to me. I was trying to think of posts, what interested me, and while I could think of generic ideas and things that I COULD write about, I found that I just didn't want to. I didn't feel interested in what I was writing about, so I didn't want blogging to become a chore. I wanted to wait for a while until I missed blogging and came up with some good ideas that made me excited to write about. And here I am.
So without dragging it out too much, I'm back, excited for the next few months and ready to blog! So lets get straight back into it with a few outfit ideas for the upcoming colder months!

The first outfit is super simple and easy. It's the sort of thing I'd throw on quickly to head to university! Baggy jumpers are my favourite because the are not only super comfy but you can also easily put on a normal t-shirt underneath in case you get hot running for the bus (we've all been there) but in the same way you can put a shirt underneath with a nice collar poking out when you know it's going to be cold.

This next outfit is a bit more gothic and punky! I love to wear black, what I love is that you can do so much with it. Dressy, casual, punk, classic, there are so many different styles. For this one I've gone casual and punk. I thought the cat ear beanie was super cute, and it would look really good with some dark purple lips. The loose fit t-shirt dress is super comfy for busy days, but then the bag is quite classy. Knee high socks and cut out boots add the grungy feel.

Finally, I have put together a more smart and girly outfit! The cute sunflower pinafore dress is a great transition into Autumn from the Summer months, and the black blazer keeps you warm as well as looking smart. I thought the boots were a nice addition to the outfit, however they could easily be changed to something more smart such as a pair of cute little pumps! I've added tights because we're most likely going to need them here in the UK!

Anyway those are just a few outfit ideas of mine, Autumn and Winter are my favourite months so I'll have a lot more fashion, DIY and beauty posts coming up soon! I can't wait to get back into it!
